With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Cordeiro in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Rodas saved Olivos from getting behind. Angelino Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gaudencio Cordeiro succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Olivos's Amador Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martin de San Juan's goalkeeper Rafael Abarca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rafael Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santo Cordarrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Martin de San Juan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
