Rafael Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, San Martin de San Juan's Rafael Abarca got control of the ball when Elias Senen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 51 minutes, Elias Senen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Senen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anacleto Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Senen in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aguilar had played much better football throughout.
