The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Edur got free with Geovani Carioca in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Geovani Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Burguito FC booed when Che Maltes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Burguito FC's Geovani Carioca got control of the ball when Norberto Bihar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Medero took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Oihan. Anier Oihan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 41 minutes into the game, Natalio Garaile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burguito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Che Maltes the free kick. In the 41st minute, Natalio Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ciriaco Ovando from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Geovani Carioca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Boniel in the 44th minute of play forced Burguito FC's goalkeeper Geovani Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Eleuterio Rudolfo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Geovani Carioca to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Medero was the one to do the kick off. Geovani Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Cristo Ramond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovani Carioca. Burguito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Ramond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 73rd minute, Eleuterio Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Che Maltes's zone, Jonatan Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Oihan came out of the goal and Jonatan Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Che Maltes's Anier Oihan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Che Maltes from getting a goal against them. Lázaro Gilen charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Gilen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anier Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Rufio in the 92nd minute of the match. Geovani Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Geovani Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Ramond in the 100th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
