The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Esteban Pierres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Montez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frente de Izquierda's Joaquin Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Hermelando in the 7th minute of play. Joaquin Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Gutxi in the 9th minute of the match. Frente de Izquierda's Joaquin Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Gutxi in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Gutxi in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Montez saved Frente de Izquierda from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Sp. Mecanica Destructora got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Gonsalvo. Flavio Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Ayala in the 24th minute of the match. Frente de Izquierda were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Sp. Mecanica Destructora's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Everardo Galo took the corner. When Uriel Ayala fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frente de Izquierda's protests and gave Uriel Ayala a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Frente de Izquierda got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Ayala. In the 36th minute of the match Evaristo Frans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Montez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, Frente de Izquierda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. If Ambrosio Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Frente de Izquierda defense, Alfonso Gutxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Montez. The Frente de Izquierda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Montez should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joaquin Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sp. Mecanica Destructora booed when Frente de Izquierda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Hermelando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Montez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. If Alfonso Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Sp. Mecanica Destructora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Elija to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Bazil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frente de Izquierda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sp. Mecanica Destructora the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Arnaldo Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Frente de Izquierda's Uriel Ayala in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sp. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Gutxi got free with Joaquin Montez in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Hermelando in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Hermelando was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Sp. Mecanica Destructora's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 83 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Hermelando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Montez, 0-4. Ambrosio Hermelando took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Montez. Joaquin Montez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sp. Mecanica Destructora had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
