Reaper Crew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Amaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Walme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cesar Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Amaya in the 11th minute of play forced C.A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cesar Amaya came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Reaper Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Amaya couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Roman Walme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Cordeal. C.A. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Walme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Amaya in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primitivo Cordeal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 played minutes C.A. Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Lugo. When Cesar Amaya came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Reaper Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Amaya couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Roman Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roman Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Amaya in the 44th minute of play forced C.A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Reaper Crew were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roman Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Primitivo Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Edgardo Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reaper Crew's goalkeeper Amador Tulio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danilo Nesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Tulio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Roman Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Cordeal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Amaya in the 69th minute of play forced C.A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Amaya in the 93rd minute of play. Reaper Crew played a much better game than C.A. Boca Juniors and deserved their victory. The C.A. Boca Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
