Jeronimo Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lorenzo Su tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Fe in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Fe came free, but Celedonio Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Ferrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Fe's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Cañete's Ariel Ilixo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ariel Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Celedonio Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Valentin Evangelista got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ulises Fe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Fe was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Cañete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Fe took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Ferrando. Celedonio Ferrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 59th minute, Felix Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Ariel Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Ferrando came out of the goal and Ariel Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Fe in the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Fe came free, but Celedonio Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ulises Fe came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cañete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Fe couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cañete had won after a very even match.
