Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uriel Ayala kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frente de Izquierda's goalkeeper Joaquin Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benedicto Gaufred received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Montez came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Gaufred slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Dante Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Isaio in the 14th minute of the match. Dios Desconfederado's Dante Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Ayala in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Isaio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Salomone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uriel Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Uriel Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dante Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uriel Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Frente de Izquierda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Ayala couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Martxel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dante Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Gavino Blasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Gaufred was the one to do the kick off. Dante Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Ayala in the 54th minute of play. Benedicto Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Montez having to interfere. Bernardo Gustau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Dios Desconfederado's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ayala came free, but Dante Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Blasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Urtungo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dios Desconfederado's Leon Urtungo got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Benedicto Gaufred came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dios Desconfederado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Gaufred couldn't finish the play. Dios Desconfederado's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
