In the 10th minute Roman Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Baudelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Abeijon in the 14th minute of play forced Reaper Crew's goalkeeper Amador Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Amaya in the 15th minute of play forced Animán AFC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Amaya in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Baudelio saved Animán AFC from getting behind. Osvaldo Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Shepherd in the 18th minute of play. Florentino Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Tulio having to interfere. Roman Walme struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Osvaldo Baudelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reaper Crew. Animán AFC's Osvaldo Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Amaya in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reaper Crew's goalkeeper Amador Tulio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cayetano Arias's late challenge caught a Reaper Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Arias helped the player get up and apologised. Cayetano Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Cesar Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cesar Amaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Amaya made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Oriol in the 52nd minute of play forced Reaper Crew's goalkeeper Amador Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Hugo Playo's late challenge caught a Animán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. But to his dismay, Cesar Amaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cesar Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Walme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Cesar Shepherd hit a great ball. The corner ended in Cayetano Arias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reaper Crew's Amador Tulio did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Colon during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Animán AFC booed when Reaper Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reaper Crew's Cesar Amaya got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cesar Amaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reaper Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Amaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Baudelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Amaya in the 90th minute of play.
