If Martin Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Fernandes got free with Geronimo Bilintx in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Xr 250 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Evelio Vermudo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xr 250's zone, Paolo Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Botello came out of the goal and Paolo Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Botello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. C.A.River Plate's Geronimo Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Erroman in the 21st minute of play. A hard shot 26 in the game by Denis Fernandes from a close distance when the talented Geronimo Bilintx managed to make a qualified save. C.A.River Plate's players were relieved. In the 26th minute, Esteban Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xr 250's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Xr 250's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
