Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Elorri kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in 7 Libertadores's zone, Ariel Natal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Rioja came out of the goal and Ariel Natal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Papo in the 7th minute of play. Ariel Maura charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Maura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Frontera FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Maura. Ariel Natal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 Libertadores's Lisandro Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Papo in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Rosendo Quintun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 7 Libertadores and the Frontera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 7 Libertadores's Rosendo Quintun got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Carlos Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Frontera FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Frontera FC's Emilio Papo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ariel Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Rioja having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Ariel Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Carlos Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. 7 Libertadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Elorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Cristofor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the 7 Libertadores defense, Emilio Papo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Rioja. The 7 Libertadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Rioja should have stopped the shot. After the first half Frontera FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Papo was the one to do the kick off. Ariel Natal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Frontera FC's Venancio Bittor got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Sanson in the 61st minute of play forced Frontera FC's goalkeeper Basilio Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Frontera FC's Ariel Natal in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 7 Libertadores's goalie prevented a goal. After 64 played minutes 7 Libertadores got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Tajo. In the 66th match minute, 7 Libertadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Tajo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ariel Natal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Natal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, 7 Libertadores's goalkeeper Lisandro Rioja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Natal. In the 79th minute, Emilio Papo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 83rd minute, Ariel Natal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Rioja was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Basilio Cristofor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Sanson in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Frontera FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 7 Libertadores.
