Gerardo Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Duarte having to interfere. Isaac Duarte made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gerardo Obano sent off a good shot on target. Isaac Duarte was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Mauro Evarado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauro Evarado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Martin Millrick's late challenge caught a River Plate Bahía Blanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Millrick helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Millrick hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Melquiades Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Evarado was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Mauro Evarado notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of River Plate Bahía Blanca's Isaac Duarte. Isaac Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of SavoiaLaTenesAdentro FC booed when River Plate Bahía Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Evarado went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Gerardo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SavoiaLaTenesAdentro FC's Mauro Evarado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Mauro Evarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Enekoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaac Duarte. River Plate Bahía Blanca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate Bahía Blanca's zone, Gerardo Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Duarte came out of the goal and Gerardo Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River Plate Bahía Blanca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
