The audience was convinced that Amador Jacindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Duarte was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Basilio Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Carmelo Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fabio Casado made a huge save. A collision led to River Plate Bahía Blanca getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Amadeo Palben hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Cresenciano during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Carmelo Mundo could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Fabio Casado however easily saved by the left post. In the 29th minute, Tadeo Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate Bahía Blanca's Fernando Enekoitz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabio Casado but with some difficulty. Leandro Eufemio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isaac Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Leandro Eufemio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of River Plate Bahía Blanca's Isaac Duarte. Isaac Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carmelo Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Casado having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Tadeo Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Duarte made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Amador Jacindo sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st match minute, Pelusa del Kiwi 09.12.18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Quin to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Leandro Eufemio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 68th minute, Leandro Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Jacindos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Isaac Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 73 minutes of play, Pelusa del Kiwi 09.12.18's Amador Jacindo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Jacindo got free with Isaac Duarte in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Pelusa del Kiwi 09.12.18's Leandro Eufemio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaac Duarte. Isaac Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Israel Lucian's late challenge caught a Pelusa del Kiwi 09.12.18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Lucian helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, River Plate Bahía Blanca's Israel Lucian got a free kick in the 86th minute. Carmelo Mundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Eufemio in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to River Plate Bahía Blanca getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Israel Lucian hit a great ball. The Pelusa del Kiwi 09.12.18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pelusa del Kiwi 09.12.18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
