The supporters of LoboMendoza booed when Providencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Barrionuevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Providencia's Samuel Vistruario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Intxixu in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Providencia's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Tajo came free, but Samuel Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to LoboMendoza getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iker Tajo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Santo Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Bingen during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LoboMendoza booed when Providencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Intxixu in the 28th minute of play forced Providencia's goalkeeper Samuel Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Providencia's Edgardo Vimaro got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hipolito Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Bingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Aguirre having to interfere. Hipolito Bingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Tajo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Vistruario. Samuel Vistruario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Providencia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LoboMendoza were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Sergio Intxixu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, LoboMendoza's Sergio Intxixu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 56th minute Osvaldo Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hipolito Bingen came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Providencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Bingen couldn't finish the play. Hilario Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Garikoitz in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Cristobal Barrionuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Providencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Barrionuevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee showed Cristobal Barrionuevo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Providencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. Santo Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Samuel Vistruario made a huge save. A collision led to Providencia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gualterio Sugoi hit a great ball. LoboMendoza's Fabian Mino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Samuel Vistruario but with some difficulty. Cristobal Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Hipolito Bingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Providencia's goalkeeper Samuel Vistruario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Eusko. After a defensive mix-up in LoboMendoza's zone, Hipolito Bingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Aguirre came out of the goal and Hipolito Bingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hipolito Bingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Hipolito Bingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
