Samuel Vistruario came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Los Tingueros's Eusebio Sugoi. But to his dismay, Eusebio Sugoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hipolito Bingen's late challenge caught a Deportivo Los Tingueros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Bingen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Providencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Bingen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Uhin got free with Samuel Vistruario in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Providencia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Florencio Firman scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Vistruario, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Oton in the 28th minute of play forced Providencia's goalkeeper Samuel Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Dante Oton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Los Tingueros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 36th match minute, Providencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. When Osvaldo Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Providencia's protests and gave Osvaldo Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Osvaldo Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Firman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Mateo Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Firman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Mateo Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Barrionuevo in the 67th minute of play forced Deportivo Los Tingueros's goalkeeper Luis Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Cristobal Barrionuevo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Deportivo Los Tingueros's Luis Hulberto. Luis Hulberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Cristobal Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Providencia's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Sugoi came free, but Samuel Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristobal Barrionuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Deportivo Los Tingueros got a freekick which was hit by Dante Oton. Gualterio Sugoi hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Mateo Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luis Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Florencio Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Los Tingueros's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Firman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Vistruario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Uhin took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Vistruario. Samuel Vistruario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Many of Providencia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Providencia may have spent more time on the ball, but Deportivo Los Tingueros were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
