Santo Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Monte having to interfere. Aquiles Monte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Intxixu's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Damaso Madeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Luro -Cap.Fed.-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LoboMendoza the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Villa Luro -Cap.Fed.- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Madeo to maneuver through the defense. If Sergio Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Sergio Intxixu made the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Ferman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hilario Aguirre made a huge save. Guillermo Ferman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Hilario Aguirre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Villa Luro -Cap.Fed.- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
