In the 41st minute Modesto Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LoboMendoza's Sergio Intxixu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Fero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Tajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half LoboMendoza were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sergio Intxixu made the kick off in the second half. If Modesto Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Modesto Manni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LoboMendoza's Hilario Aguirre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Larpe in the 74th minute of the match. Sergio Intxixu in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafael Fero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Accauntants's Casimiro Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
