LoboMendoza's Hilario Aguirre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save LoboMendoza from getting a goal against them. Fabian Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Florencio Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Santo Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Eusko in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Intxixu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergio Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Adolfo Uhin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Deportivo Los Tingueros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Uhin couldn't finish the play. Hilario Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Firman in the 84th minute of play. Sergio Intxixu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Hulberto having to make a save. Santo Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Luis Hulberto made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Santo Hibai made a precise shot to the right of Luis Hulberto. Deportivo Los Tingueros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Felo during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deportivo Los Tingueros's Florencio Firman got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded LoboMendoza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Los Tingueros.
