Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Larra in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alfredo Larra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Fiz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Acevedo's goalkeeper Leonides Faro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Eli. Alfredo Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leonides Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Acevedo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acevedo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
