With a little luck, Mil Flores's Victoriano Lano got control of the ball when Nicanor Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. The tension between the Alberdi Jrs. and the Mil Flores players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Alberdi Jrs.'s zone, Marcos Orland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Gustau came out of the goal and Marcos Orland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Lano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Honorio Loren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Lano. Mil Flores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Loren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Victoriano Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Loren in the 34th minute of play. Reynaldo Lop in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victoriano Lano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Patxi got free with Victoriano Lano in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Victoriano Lano managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Alberdi Jrs.'s Honorio Loren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Alberdi Jrs. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Reynaldo Lop hit a great ball. Evaristo Gustau was completely defenseless when Desiderio Silbestre shot a long shot which deflected off the right pole and into the goal in the game's 51st minute, 1-2. Gervasio Pelayo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Manuel Aguilera made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Lano. Mil Flores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 63rd minute, Honorio Loren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Marcos Orland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evaristo Gustau came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Orland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Loren in the 81st minute of play forced Mil Flores's goalkeeper Victoriano Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Lano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Loren went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Henry in the 85th minute of play forced Mil Flores's goalkeeper Victoriano Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Honorio Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Lano having to interfere. Alberdi Jrs.'s Evaristo Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Orland in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Alberdi Jrs. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
