In the 8th match minute, Port Talbot C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Goi to maneuver through the defense. When Sixto Baristo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Baristo couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Port Talbot C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Baristo came free, but Gualterio Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Baristo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gualterio Efren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roma. Victorio Hug hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gualterio Efren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Abeitia went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Dario Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Sixto Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Ebardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ahmet Sedat Ongul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Talbot C.F.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Ebardo in the 39th minute of play forced Roma's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Ongul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Baristo in the 43rd minute of play forced Port Talbot C.F.'s goalkeeper Gualterio Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sixto Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualterio Efren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Abeitia's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Alonzo Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Ongul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Abeitia in the 67th minute of play forced Port Talbot C.F.'s goalkeeper Gualterio Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Sixto Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes Roma got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Pereyra. It was beautiful to see Port Talbot C.F.'s Eugenio Cordeara in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Port Talbot C.F.'s Alonzo Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Port Talbot C.F. booed when Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Port Talbot C.F.'s Fidel Ebardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Sedat Ongul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Marcial Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Efren having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Roma left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Port Talbot C.F..
