The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Lander got free with Gualterio Efren in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute Delmar Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lander struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Gualterio Efren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibipora Esporte Club. In the 12th play minute Dante Lander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gualterio Efren. 1-0. If Delmar Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Port Talbot C.F.'s Alonzo Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alonzo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cloyo having to interfere. Gualterio Efren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delmar Feliu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Ibipora Esporte Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Lander to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Nikola during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Ebardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match Romulo Txurio shot from a long distance.
