Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Gilesindo in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hector Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Panambí booed when Melero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Luken was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Luken in the 16th minute of play forced Panambí's goalkeeper Braulio Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Edgardo Orland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Santiago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marciano Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Braulio Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Melero AFC defense, Angelo Martxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Santiago. The Melero AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Santiago should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Melero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Gilesindo came free, but Norberto Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Gilesindo in the 47th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Luken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Hector Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Edgardo Orland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panambí and the Melero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Orland. The attack was good, but when Alfredo Xabat in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Panambí's Celedonio Elija got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marciano Luken struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Braulio Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melero AFC. Braulio Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Alejo Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Santiago came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Melero AFC's Marciano Luken. But to his dismay, Marciano Luken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Marciano Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Angelo Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Panambí were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Melero AFC side.
