Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martin Goren started the match with the kick off. Tiburcio Cresconio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Luken in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Melero AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rigoberto Sabino hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Domingo Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Piearres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Holdich's Martin Goren in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melero AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Benicio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Santiago having to interfere. Santiago Cisco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Piearres in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norberto Santiago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Hibai in the 19th minute of play forced Holdich's goalkeeper Tiburcio Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Melero AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Santiago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Piearres. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Eustaquio Piearres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Melero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Cisco. Benicio Primeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Norberto Santiago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiburcio Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Luken in the 31st minute of the match. Tiburcio Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Santiago made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Benicio Primeiro sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Benicio Primeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Santiago was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Melero AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Santiago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Primeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Luken in the 45th minute of play forced Holdich's goalkeeper Tiburcio Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Luken to make the kick off. Mateo Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Martin Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Marciano Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Cresconio was a little too slow when Alfredo Xabat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. Melero AFC's Norberto Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Piearres in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Melero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Goren came free, but Norberto Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Eustaquio Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Eustaquio Piearres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Santiago was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Benicio Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Norberto Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Cisco during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Melero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Cisco. After recieving a nice pass, Holdich's Lorenzo Kaxen tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Melero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Fix to maneuver through the defense. When Holdich's Martin Goren in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melero AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Melero AFC's Tiburcio Cresconio threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marciano Luken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tiburcio Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Luken, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Holdich's goalkeeper Tiburcio Cresconio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Xabat. When Mateo Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holdich's protests and gave Mateo Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Mateo Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melero AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
