Atilano Urre hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Angelino Aresti sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carabelas's Simon Claris didn't even have to move. In the 7th minute, Hector Gilesindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Panambí's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Aragones came free, but Braulio Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Urre in the 12th minute of play. If Angelo Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Panambí's zone, Salvador Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Santiago came out of the goal and Salvador Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Orland during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgardo Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Salvador Weterio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Panambí's Braulio Santiago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Urre during the 26th minute. Simon Claris came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Panambí's Hector Gilesindo. But to his dismay, Hector Gilesindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Celedonio Elija charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Elija the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celedonio Elija kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Salvador Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Mariano Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Salvador Weterio rounded Panambí's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. In the 95th match minute, Carabelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Hector Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Claris having to interfere. Panambí's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
