With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Kaxen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Ponc saved Era Por Abajo from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Era Por Abajo's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Goren came free, but Marcelo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

If Martin Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Era Por Abajo defense, Eustaquio Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Ponc. The Era Por Abajo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Ponc should have stopped the shot. Benicio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Ponc having to interfere. Marcelo Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Amato hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Holdich's Tiburcio Cresconio got control of the ball when Ricardo Lehoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Cresconio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roberto Berdaitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 71 minute of play. Ricardo Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Cresconio having to interfere. If Benicio Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Piearres in the 95th minute of play.
