The referee showed Abelardo Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Panambí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Lorenzo Kaxen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panambí's Braulio Santiago didn't even have to move. In the 31st minute, Panambí's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eustaquio Piearres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Martin Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holdich's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Martxot to strike the kick off in the second half. Braulio Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Goren in the 52nd minute of play. Panambí's Braulio Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Vargas in the 55th minute of play. Braulio Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Goren in the 56th minute of play. Abelardo Cordeiro was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Braulio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Primeiro in the 72nd minute of the match. Eustaquio Piearres struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Braulio Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holdich. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Goren in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Santiago saved Panambí from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Holdich's Martin Goren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Eustaquio Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Benicio Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Holdich had played much better football throughout.
