If Benicio Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiburcio Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melero AFC's Norberto Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Goren in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Holdich's Martin Goren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melero AFC's Norberto Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Goren in the 20th minute of play. Benicio Primeiro took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Santiago. Norberto Santiago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 28 minutes, Martin Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holdich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Goren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benicio Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Norberto Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Santiago having to interfere. Benicio Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Norberto Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melero AFC's Norberto Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Primeiro in the 42nd minute of play. Norberto Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Primeiro in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melero AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Santiago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiburcio Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Satordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Kaxen might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Santiago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Kaxen ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Goren made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Martin Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holdich's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Benicio Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Norberto Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Primeiro got free with Norberto Santiago in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Benicio Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Xabat in the 68th minute of play forced Holdich's goalkeeper Tiburcio Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Mateo Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Santiago. Melero AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Benicio Primeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Luken took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Cresconio. Tiburcio Cresconio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Eustaquio Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Santiago having to interfere. Mateo Vargas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Norberto Santiago skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eustaquio Piearres struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Norberto Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holdich. Martin Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Hibai hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Norberto Santiago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Goren's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Tiburcio Cresconio came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Melero AFC's Marciano Luken. But to his dismay, Marciano Luken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Holdich played a much better game than Melero AFC and deserved their victory. The Melero AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
