The referee ignored Melero AFC's protests and gave Domingo Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Melero AFC's Domingo Aimar got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Panambí booed when Melero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Angelo Martxot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norberto Santiago. Angelo Martxot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marciano Luken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Santiago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Melero AFC's Marciano Luken made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celedonio Elija struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Norberto Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panambí. Gogo Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Braulio Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Braulio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Luken in the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Panambí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Elija to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Luken was the one to do the kick off. Alfredo Xabat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Braulio Santiago skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Norberto Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Martxot in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Luken in the 66th minute of play forced Panambí's goalkeeper Braulio Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Hector Gilesindo. Marciano Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Panambí's Celedonio Elija sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Santiago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Marciano Luken fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Braulio Santiago, passed just outside the right post. 81 minutes into the game, Melero AFC's Alfredo Xabat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Martxot in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Panambí's Angelo Martxot in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melero AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Alejo Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Melero AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
