Cornelio Lizardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Polentzi in the 27th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Roman Estavan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Lizardi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Jerico was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tres Plumas's Santo Eleazar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Quebrachitos AFC's Bartolo Mattin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tres Plumas. Santo Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos AFC's Jonatan Lapurdi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Rafael Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Damian Jerico came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Tres Plumas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Jerico couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Quebrachitos AFC's Samuel Erdiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornelio Lizardi. That made the score 1-5 after 81 minutes of play. Rafael Polentzi scored 1-6 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Lizardi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
