Sarmiento AFC's Alfredo Cuarto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento AFC from getting a goal against them. David Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nunez Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primera Junta's Nunez Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Roldan in the 31st minute of play. Nunez Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Primera Junta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Montel to maneuver through the defense. David Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nunez Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felix Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Luke having to interfere. Nunez Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

David Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, David Roldan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nunez Luke. The goal made the score 0-1. David Roldan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nunez Luke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Roldan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Sarmiento AFC's David Roldan in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Primera Junta's goalie prevented a goal. Sarmiento AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
