The supporters of Atlanta FC booed when Sarmiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlanta FC:s Enrique Guerrero showed great skill when he stopped Lorenzo Urdin:s penalty. 67 minutes into the game, Felix Abastas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Enrique Guerrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Rencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Cuarto having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Felix Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Abastas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlanta FC's Enrique Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Roldan in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute David Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gustavo Montez fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlanta FC's protests and gave Gustavo Montez a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlanta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Sarmiento AFC.
