Marcelino Evangelista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Chale in the 24th minute. Marcelino Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Saturnino Ariando took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcelino Evangelista to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th minute, Fabricio Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Saturnino Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Ariando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Maurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Marcelino Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Maurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Alejo Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Benitez struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Astor Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mármol. After a rather tough play, Correra AFC's Anier Abeijon got a free kick in the 65th minute. Melchor Larra, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcelino Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Correra AFC's Astor Maurino got control of the ball when Aristides Austin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Marcelino Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Maurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Correra AFC's Alejo Cordario got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Alejo Cordario off the ground. In the 80th minute, Alejo Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Larra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ciriaco Christobal's late challenge caught a Mármol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Christobal helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Astor Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Ariando's late challenge caught a Mármol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Ariando helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mármol booed when Correra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Austin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Astor Maurino made a huge save. Correra AFC's Astor Maurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Bermudo in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
