Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Bermudo started the match with the kick off. Honorato Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Evangelista having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Honorato Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atl. Libertador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Mármol got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Benitez. After 13 minutes of play, Atl. Libertador's Honorato Martino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Evangelista was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Atl. Libertador booed when Mármol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Bela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Martino in the 22nd minute of the match. Aristides Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Bernabel having to interfere. In the 28th minute Marcelino Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Bernabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Mármol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Bela to maneuver through the defense. Libertador's Gaspar Bernabel got control of the ball when Aristides Austin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 48 played minutes Mármol got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Bermudo. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Anastasio Guillen made the kick off in the second half. Atl. Libertador's Gaspar Bernabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Benitez in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Mármol's goalkeeper Marcelino Evangelista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Guillen. In the 59th minute, Fabricio Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mármol's zone, Anastasio Guillen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Evangelista came out of the goal and Anastasio Guillen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Evangelista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
