Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Aristides Haimar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gaspar Bernabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Acosta in the 3rd minute. When Saul Intxixu fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saldán FC's protests and gave Saul Intxixu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Saul Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Primitivo Muno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Deunoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anastasio Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixto Deunoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Atl. Libertador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Garoa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Haimar in the 23rd minute of play forced Atl. Libertador's goalkeeper Gaspar Bernabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atl. Libertador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Abelardo Garoa hit a great ball. Saul Intxixu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Anastasio Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sixto Deunoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gaspar Bernabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sixto Deunoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Deunoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Guillen in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Saldán FC's Teofilo Ritchie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaspar Bernabel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saldán FC reached it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Guillen made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Atl. Libertador's zone, Saul Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Bernabel came out of the goal and Saul Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Aristides Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Bernabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Palban was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 62 minutes, Saul Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Acosta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Saul Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gaspar Bernabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saul Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gaspar Bernabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Atl. Libertador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Garoa to maneuver through the defense. Saldán FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Atl. Libertador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Ritchie took the corner. Marcelo Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gaspar Bernabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Haimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Martino struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Sixto Deunoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atl. Libertador. Saldán FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
