Nunez Honrio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Robustiano Argider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medinas. Eustacio Dolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Perutxo in the 28th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Bernabel during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Segundo Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Medinas's zone, Abelardo Perutxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Dolfo came out of the goal and Abelardo Perutxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Perutxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Eustacio Dolfo made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, IRU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Honrio came free, but Robustiano Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When Nunez Honrio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Medinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Honrio couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Dolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Medinas's Segundo Bernabel got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Segundo Bernabel off the ground. Segundo Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Nunez Honrio took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Argider. Robustiano Argider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Medinas booed when IRU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the IRU FC defense, Nunez Honrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robustiano Argider. The IRU FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Argider should have stopped the shot. Eustacio Dolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 83 minutes into the match, IRU FC's Lucio Etxeberri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Dolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Medinas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
