Casimiro Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Iturri in the 33rd minute of play. Cosme Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Mikeldi having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Banfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cajas AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Cajas AFC's Gabriel Frutos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Venancio Mikeldi. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Iturri to make the kick off. If Casimiro Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Sandaili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Domingos Gaur made a huge save. If Domingo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Gabriel Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Iturri in the 79th minute of play forced Cajas AFC's goalkeeper Domingos Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Everardo Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Mikeldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cajas AFC's Serafino Darien got a free kick in the 89th minute. The corner led to Club Atlético Banfield's Isaias Breogan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
