If Ruperto Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Lia struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Pastor Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funes Mori FC. Stayle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Lia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 92 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Gonsalve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stayle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funes Mori FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stayle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Funes Mori FC had won after a very even match.
