In the 30th minute of the match, Niceto Victoro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaudencio Fidele saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Celedonio Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Vento Aureo's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Fidele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the game, Baldomero Fortun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gaudencio Fidele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Celedonio Gumaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. If Niceto Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Vento Aureo's Celedonio Gumaro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
