Apolo Checa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind CamaroncitoFC's goalkeeper Apolo Checa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Argenis made a kick off. After 88 played minutes CamaroncitoFC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Otsoko. Apolo Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Checa made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Celedonio Gumaro sent off a good shot on target. Niceto Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Despite being the better team, Club Atlético Vento Aureo failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
