The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Atilano Sandaili made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Rafe. Ravdar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Stayle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Guilabertus to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Julio Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravdar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Koldobika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Pagomari in the 25th minute of the match. Ravdar FC's Bruno Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Sandaili in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jorge Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Salvador Osorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Rafe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ravdar FC's Sixto Gelacio got a free kick in the 39th minute. Stayle's Pastor Haimar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Stayle from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Sandaili to make the kick off. Julio Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Haimar having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Ravdar FC's Erubiel Pagomari made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Haimar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The attack was good, but when Atilano Sandaili in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 77 played minutes Ravdar FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Bizen. Julio Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pastor Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Sandaili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Gonsalve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stayle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ravdar FC the free kick.
