Agustin Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cangrejillos's Hipolito Balendin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Cangrejillos from getting a goal against them. When Mateo Illart fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Spartan's protests and gave Mateo Illart a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes FC Spartan got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Illart. 27 minutes into the game, Marciano Ferman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hipolito Balendin. Marciano Ferman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Mateo Illart was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. In the 33rd minute, Mateo Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35thth minute of the game Abelardo Nesor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Spartan's Clodoveo Fidele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abelardo Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Fidele having to interfere. Justino Seber hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Nesor was the one to do the kick off. Clodoveo Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Agustin Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangrejillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Serafino Gorosti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Spartan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cangrejillos the free kick. Serafino Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Abelardo Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Nesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Fidele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes, Marcelo Egoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Spartan and the Cangrejillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes FC Spartan got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Egoitz. When Cangrejillos's Abelardo Nesor in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Spartan's goalie prevented a goal. Cangrejillos's Abelardo Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcelo Egoitz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Marcelo Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Spartan's zone, Abelardo Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Fidele came out of the goal and Abelardo Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Nesor in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, FC Spartan's goalkeeper Clodoveo Fidele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Montrel. If Abelardo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Montrel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Clodoveo Fidele when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Spartan had won after a very even match.
