Abelardo Nesor took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Tallia. Freddy Tallia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, Cangrejillos's Abelardo Nesor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Tallia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburcio Savion hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Tigres Del Este's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Montrel came free, but Freddy Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Agustin Montrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cangrejillos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Cangrejillos's Abelardo Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Freddy Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Agustin Montrel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tigres Del Este's Freddy Tallia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Atauri to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Cipriano Vitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigres Del Este and the Cangrejillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Herminio Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigres Del Este's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Maraman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Agustin Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The tension between the Tigres Del Este and the Cangrejillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Abelardo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Cangrejillos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
