After 20 minutes, Anastasio Rivas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carcarañá and the Meridiano Vº players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Meridiano Vº booed when Carcarañá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Meridiano Vº's Erubiel Moise got control of the ball when Gonzalo Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Leizarraga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Teodoro Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Moise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Meridiano Vº getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Severiano Bernad hit a great ball. Blas Neto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Celso Rosario sent off a good shot on target. If Gonzalo Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Erubiel Moise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
