Moises Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Colazo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Vermudo came free, but Gervasio Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Colazo's Gervasio Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Chuan in the 60th minute of play. Genaro Amato hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Augusto Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Karmel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Terciero having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Pablo Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Saverio Estevez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Estefan skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Vermudo in the 79th minute of play forced Colazo's goalkeeper Gervasio Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Pablo Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
