Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicasio Vermudo got the match started through his kick off. Fernando Sarracino might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moises Terciero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Sarracino ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Rumi AFC's zone, Fernando Sarracino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Terciero came out of the goal and Fernando Sarracino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Sanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Vermudo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Clodoveo Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Sanson having to interfere. Moises Terciero made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Teodosio Montxo sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, TP MATANZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Lando to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Sarracino to make the kick off. When Nicasio Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rumi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Vermudo couldn't finish the play. TP MATANZA's Justo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Vermudo in the 58th minute of play. Moises Terciero came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by TP MATANZA's Fernando Sarracino. But to his dismay, Fernando Sarracino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. TP MATANZA's Justo Sanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save TP MATANZA from getting a goal against them. The supporters of TP MATANZA booed when Rumi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Feliciano Jerrold shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moises Terciero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rumi AFC's Teodoro Austin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Teodosio Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Rumi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Sarracino came free, but Moises Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Burni struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Justo Sanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumi AFC. Fernando Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Justo Sanson managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Rumi AFC's Clodoveo Burni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Clodoveo Burni came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Rumi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Burni couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TP MATANZA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rumi AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
