The supporters of Tisca FC booed when La deseada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Medardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes, Benedicto Libertad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tisca FC and the La deseada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedicto Libertad kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Silverio Roano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Cebrian in the 16th minute of play forced Tisca FC's goalkeeper Silverio Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Pablo Medardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silverio Roano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as La deseada's Aaron Cebrian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Roano. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Tisca FC's Silverio Roano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Tisca FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Benedicto Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, German Eron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La deseada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. La deseada were furious when Manuel Gorbea was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Medardo was the one to do the kick off. Tisca FC's Silverio Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Medardo in the 61st minute of play. Melquiades Hotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ezequiel Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dario Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Libertad in the 96th minute of the match. Clodoveo Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
