Urbano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Gartzi in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Silverio Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Clodoveo Gipuzkoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Rito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Gipuzkoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Rito. Humboldt FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Gipuzkoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dago F.C.'s Clodoveo Gipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvio Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Benicio Gartzi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Humboldt FC's Urbano Rito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Humboldt FC from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Humboldt FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Raymundo. 43 minutes into the match, Dago F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Ubendu came free, but Silvio Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Chus made a kick off. Urbano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Asur in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Dago F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Nastasio. If Natalio Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humboldt FC's Natalio Ubendu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Natalio Ubendu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humboldt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Ubendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Clodoveo Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dago F.C.'s Silverio Asur got a free kick in the 71st minute. Humboldt FC's Urbano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Chus in the 76th minute of play. Urbano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Gartzi in the 79th minute of play. Urbano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Dago F.C.'s Francisco Chus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Rito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Humboldt FC booed when Dago F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Humboldt FC's Natalio Ubendu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Otsoko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silverio Asur scored 4-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbano Rito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Humboldt FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
