With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Veto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the game, Nereo Gartzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gonzalo Veto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Daniel Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Eriz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jose Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Veto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Daniel Belo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putrachoique FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Belo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Fernanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Montxo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Putrachoique FC's zone, Jose Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Veto came out of the goal and Jose Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Putrachoique FC's Gonzalo Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Fernandes in the 60th minute of play. Nereo Gartzis short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Gonzalo Veto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nereo Gartzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Veto made a huge save. LASPELOTAS's Esteban Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Belo in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Orlando Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LASPELOTAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Ponc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gonzalo Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Jose Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putrachoique FC's Gonzalo Veto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Fernandes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonzalo Veto came out and tried to block the shot, but Jose Fernandes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 87th minute. Nereo Gartzi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
