Ladislao Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Placido Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Los Fumones Esotericos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Cordero couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Jimeno Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nereo Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. LASPELOTAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Lluciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Javier Lluciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Gartzi in the 24th minute. Jose Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Javier Lluciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LASPELOTAS. With his leg Javier Lluciano managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when LASPELOTAS's Orlando Ponc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Cordero in the 33rd minute of play forced LASPELOTAS's goalkeeper Esteban Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Esteban Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, LASPELOTAS's Nereo Gartzi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Lluciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Esteban Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Cordero in the 52nd minute of play. Victorino Mark hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Donato Ibon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Esteban Fernanco made a huge save. Placido Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Fernanco having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Jose Fernandes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Santana during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Fumones Esotericos's Severo Santana got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Placido Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, LASPELOTAS's Domingo Urtats seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Domingo Urtats the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LASPELOTAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Domingo Urtats had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 87 minutes into the game, Placido Cordero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteban Fernanco. Placido Cordero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Fumones Esotericos's goalkeeper Javier Lluciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Javier Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Gartzi in the 95th minute of play. Nereo Gartzi took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Lluciano. Javier Lluciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. LASPELOTAS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
