The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Iraitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clodoveo Gipuzkoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Lohitzun having to make a save. Ernesto Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dionisio Gaizko in the 18th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Silvio Otsoko kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Luis Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Dago F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Tirso. After a defensive mix-up in Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's zone, Francisco Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Lohitzun came out of the goal and Francisco Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Gipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Abel Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Gartzi's late challenge caught a Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Gartzi helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Gaizko to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's Edelmiro Quiroga got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Francisco Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Lohitzun having to interfere. 59 minutes in the game, Francisco Chus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abel Lohitzun having to interfere. Abel Lohitzun made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Clodoveo Gipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's zone, Francisco Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Lohitzun came out of the goal and Francisco Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's goalkeeper Abel Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Gipuzkoa. In the 67th minute Francisco Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Iraitz in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dionisio Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Gaizko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Otsoko having to interfere. Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's Abel Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Chus in the 86th minute of play. Benicio Gartzi got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Dago F.C. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Benicio Gartzi hit a great ball. Dionisio Gaizko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Otsoko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Iraitz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Iraitz in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Otsoko saved Dago F.C. from getting behind. Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
